1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Teamworks Executive Suites website (bookteamworks.com) and our booking services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Teamworks provides a platform for booking executive meeting spaces, conference rooms, and related services in Downtown San Mateo, California. We facilitate connections between guests and space hosts through our online booking system.
3. Account Registration
To make a booking, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Booking Policies
Minimum Booking Duration
All spaces require a minimum booking of 4 hours. No exceptions apply.
Instant Book vs. Inquiry
Some spaces offer Instant Book for immediate confirmation. Others require host approval before confirmation. Payment is collected upon booking confirmation.
Space Rules
Each space has specific rules and restrictions set by the host. You must comply with all space rules, including but not limited to noise limits, guest capacity, event type restrictions, and no-smoking policies. Parties are not permitted in any Teamworks space.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
7-Day Cancellation Policy
- 7+ days before the event: Full refund including fees
- 24 hours to 7 days before: 50% refund excluding fees
- Less than 24 hours: No refund
Standard 30-Day Cancellation Policy
- 30+ days before the event: Full refund
- 7 to 30 days before: 50% refund
- Less than 7 days: Non-refundable
Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to process. If a host cancels your booking, you will receive a full refund. No-shows are not eligible for refunds.
6. Booking Modifications
You may request changes to your booking through the platform or by contacting the host directly. Modifications are subject to host approval and space availability. Price adjustments may apply.
7. Payment
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. By making a booking, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your selected payment method. Cleaning fees set by the host are compulsory and non-negotiable.
8. User Responsibilities
As a user of our services, you agree to:
- Use spaces only for their intended purpose
- Treat all spaces and equipment with care
- Follow all host rules and restrictions
- Leave spaces in the condition you found them
- Not engage in any illegal activities on the premises
- Report any damages or issues promptly to the host and our support team
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Teamworks website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Teamworks Executive Suites or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
Teamworks acts as a platform connecting guests with space hosts. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services
- We do not guarantee the availability, quality, or suitability of any listed space
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific booking in question
11. Dispute Resolution
We encourage direct communication between guests and hosts to resolve any disputes. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, our support team will mediate based on our policies. Unresolved disputes shall be subject to the governing law provisions below.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of San Mateo County, California.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
